I'm Excited To See You Here! Let's Start Setting Up...

I'm so glad you could join me for this workshop and know you will find it helpful to your unique early learning environment and all of the ideas and examples are easily modified for different age groups and service types including Family Daycare, Early Learning Centres, Preschools, Kindergarten and Outside School Hours Care.

This is your Workshop Homepage where you can choose to watch the workshop video or access the help me videos from the lesson menu bar (to the side if on a computer - tap the lines to drop down if using a mobile device).

You can work your way through this 2 hour workshop at your own pace and come back as many times as you need for a full 12 months to watch all of the presentation.

You really don’t need a big budget or endless imagination and creativity to set up an engaging and playful indoor learning space – just some out of the box thinking, a little inspiration, regular reflection and most importantly, ongoing conversations with the children so you can hear their thoughts, suggestions and opinions and in the process encourage ownership and pride in their space!

So go ahead and tap/click the green 'Start now'  button down below this box to access the workshop video and find new ideas and strategies that you can take away and start using in your own early learning environment.

Make sure to click on the green buttons under the workshop video to download the available workshop handouts.

Choose what is helpful to you - there is no need to overwhelm yourself by downloading everything just because you can - think about what you would find most useful as a tool for reflection and to help you take action after the workshop .

Hi, I’m Jodie - an early childhood educator, mentor and blogger. I have worked in many different roles across the human services, family services and early childhood professions over the past 35 years so it's likely I have already walked in similar shoes to your own. I know what is helpful (and definitely NOT helpful or useful) to educators because I am one too. I  enjoy supporting and mentoring thousands of educators every year through my popular website The Empowered Educator and practical blog posts, activity ideas, factsheets, free e-guides, online training, membership hub, e-courses, Facebook community, webinars and e-books.
